LOS GATOS

LG NJB participates in two divisions of NJB: Divisional and All-Net.

The majority of children play at the Divisional Level.  At the Divisional Level, there are no tryouts - only evaluations (for team balancing purposes).   All children who participate at the Divisional Level receive guaranteed playing time throughout the season. Divisional players must attend Evaluations in order to form balanced teams.  Divisional teams are coached by volunteers (typically parents of children on the team).  More information on Divisional NJB can be found here.

The All-Net level is a more advanced level where players must qualify through All-Net Tryout sessions.  All-Net teams compete against other high-level teams in the bay area and are coached by experienced, professional coaches.  More information about All-Net can be found here.

Divisional Evaluations will be held according to the schedule shown below.  

Players not trying out for All-Net, as well as those that don't make an All-Net team, must attend ONE Divisional Evaluation. The evaluations help our coaches form evenly balanced teams.

Please have your child wear an LG NJB jersey if they have one. If not, either a black or white T-shirt works as well. This will help us split up teams for scrimmaging.

The “Divisional” (non All-Net) teams are divided as follows:

• Boys Division 1, 7th/8th grade
• Boys Division 2, 5th/6th grade
• Boys Division 3, 3rd/4th grade
   
• Girls Division 1, 7th/8th grade
• Girls Division 2, 5th/6th grade
• Girls Division 3, 3rd/4th grade
   
• Mixed Division 4, 2nd grade

Players only need to attend ONE of the two evaluations for their age group.
 

Boys Evaluations

Boys D1 (7th/8th Grade):
Oct 14th (Saturday) 9a - 10:15a at Union Middle School (enter side door, Taft Dr entrance)

Oct 15 (Sunday) 6p - 7:15p at Leigh High School

Boys D2 (5th/6th Grade):
Oct 14 (Saturday) 10:30a - 11:45a at Union Middle School (enter side door, Taft Dr entrance)

Oct 15 (Sunday) 4:30p - 5:45p at Leigh High School

Boys D3 (3rd/4th Grade): 
Oct 14 (Saturday) 12:00p - 1:15p at Union Middle School (enter side door, Taft Dr entrance)

Oct 15 (Sunday) 3p - 4:15p at Leigh High School

Girls Evaluations

Girls D1 (7th/8th Grade): 
Not needed, 1 team only

Girls D2 (5th/6th Grade): 
Oct 7 (Saturday) 10:30a - 11:45a at Union Middle School (enter side door, Taft Dr entrance)

d4 (2nd Grade) Evaluations

There will be no evaluations for D4, there is only 1 team at this time.

Tryouts for All-Net teams will be held according to the schedule shown below.  The schedule and location for All-Net Tryouts is posted below.

Players Not making an All-Net team MUST attend one of the Divisional Evaluations.

The All-Net Teams are divided as follows:

• Boys All-Net, 8th grade (Open Division)
• Boys All-Net, 7th grade (Open Division)
• Boys All-Net, 6th grade (Open Division)
• Boys All-Net, 5th grade
• Boys All-Net, 4th grade

All-Net Tryouts:
Tryouts are required.  If you have an unavoidable conflict, please reach out directly to our All-Net Coordinator here.

PLEASE NOTE:

• THE GYM WILL BE CLOSED TO PARENTS DURING ALL-NET TRYOUTS.
• REFRAIN FROM HAVING PLAYERS COME INTO THE GYM DURING THE TRYOUTS OF THE GRADE PROCEEDING THEIR TRYOUT.
• PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TRY OUT WINDOW SO THAT WE CAN CHECK YOU IN.
